Common Issues

1
The Nomadeos-client does not connect

When testing your travel Nomadeos, make sure it is properly connected to your Internet box: the Nomadeos WAN port must be connected to an Ethernet port on your box.

Reminder: both Nomadeos devices (travel and home) must be connected to your Internet box via cable during initial setup.

If the problem persists despite this, contact our customer support.

2
Error message when entering port 51820

When you enter port 51820, an error message may appear: “The port must be between XXX and XXX”.

This message means that you do not (yet) have a full stack IPv4 address. Make sure you have followed the part of the video explaining how to request a full stack IPv4 address.

If the request has already been made, wait approximately 30 minutes, then:

  • Restart your Freebox.
  • Open a new page in your browser (to refresh the information).
  • Retry the configuration.

If the problem persists, try again after a few hours. If it still doesn't work, please contact your Free operator directly to report the problem.
