Common problems

Here are the solutions to the most frequent problems encountered during setup.

1
The nomadeos-server does not appear in the dropdown list (NAT/PAT)
  • Restart your Internet box.
  • Make sure the home device has all 3 LEDs lit; if the middle LED is off, it means the Ethernet cable is connected to the wrong port (LAN instead of WAN).
  • Once the box has restarted, open a new browser window (do not stay on the same tab as before to ensure the data is updated), then try again: Nomadeos should now appear in the list.
2
I don't know the box's credentials and can't find the WPS button

If this is the case, simply follow the instructions displayed on your screen when you click on Forgot password. The instructions may vary slightly depending on your box model.

3
I followed all instructions but no internet connection on my travel Nomadeos (nomadeos-client)

When testing your travel Nomadeos, make sure it is connected to your Internet box: the WAN port of the Nomadeos must be connected to an Ethernet port of your box.

As a reminder: both Nomadeos devices (travel and home) must be connected to your Internet box via cable during initial setup.

If it still doesn't work despite this, please contact our customer support.
