Common Issues Encountered

1
The Nomadeos-client does not connect

When testing your travel Nomadeos, make sure it is connected to your Internet box: the Nomadeos WAN port must be connected to an Ethernet port on your box.

Reminder: Both Nomadeos devices (travel and home) must be connected to your Internet box via cable during initial configuration.

If the problem persists despite this, please contact our customer support.

2
My SFR operator refuses IPv4 rollback

Some SFR advisors are not familiar with the IPv4 rollback (IPv4 full stack) service and may tell you that it is not possible.

We recommend contacting SFR again until you reach an advisor who understands your request.

All our Nomadeos customers at SFR have been able to obtain a full stack IPv4.

3
My SFR box interface is different from the one shown in the video

Make sure you have watched the entire video. Two interfaces are explained at 1:30 and 3:00.

Interface 1:

The NAT menu only appears once you have obtained your dedicated IP address (full stack IPv4).

Wait for confirmation from your operator before trying again.

Interface 2:

A message may appear: "User IPv4 configurations may not function correctly due to the current IPv6 WAN routing architecture."

Even if the interface allows you to create a NAT rule, it will not work until you have requested the IPv4 rollback.

It is imperative to obtain a full stack IPv4 for port forwarding to work correctly.
